Why?

 In these difficult times many of us have worked long and unsociable hours keeping our businesses afloat.  Sometimes it can all seem such a struggle with little financial reward for all the hard work and no sign of change in sight. It is also often very easy to look at our competitors business and see exactly what they need to do to move to the next level or change their fortune. When it comes to our own business we sometimes get so close and so involved it is difficult to see the wood for the trees, we often lose sight of what we are and where we want to be. That is where we come in.

We will come and work with you and really get to know about you and your business. We will look at all areas and ask you what you really want for the future. We will then prepare for you a detailed plan of short, medium and long term changes and plans to really help you make a better future.

Who?

We are a husband and wife team with extensive experience in both catering, hospitality and commerce. As a fully trained chef Martin has owned and run three very successful restaurants and pubs and also had a former career in mainstream sales and marketing.  Mel worked in sales and marketing for fifteen years before retraining in all areas of front of house and is particularly strong in both training and customer service.  She has been a driving force in all the restaurants.  We have now and have had our own businesses and we know how difficult it can be and how every penny counts and that is the attitude with which we undertake our helping hand projects.

When?

Well if you have reached the stage where you want us to come in, we know you need it sooner rather than later.  We will try to get to you as quickly as possible.  The first day you make the decision to make some changes the better for the business.

How?

 Initially, give us a call so we can take some details and agree what we are both expecting.  We can be flexible.  Sometimes a report and action plan is all people need to get them going, some people need a longer term arrangement of help and support.  Either way we are here to help and remember we are there to help turn things around, not cripple the business with more unreasonable costs!  As soon as we agree what you want we will get started.  We are no nonsense and frank with our advice and ask only for you to approach this with an open mind and be prepared to put the work in required to commit to change.  Lastly we undertake to sign a confidentiality agreement so that your business secrets remain just that.  Remember, you really can turn things around!
